Managed compliance and response for unmanned fuel networks

Unmanned doesn't have to mean unmanaged.

We operate the control centre behind your unmanned sites. Connected systems surface what matters. Our operators verify it and execute your approved response procedures.

02 / The service, explained

Running unmanned sites across a network? Let's talk about yours.

Discuss your network

03 / The presence problem

Removing the attendant does not remove the need for operational oversight.

An unmanned site still has fuel moving through it, vehicles on the forecourt, equipment that can fail and conditions that can change. The question has never been whether the forecourt is staffed. It is whether the operation has visibility of what is happening, and the means to respond to it.

Physical attendance is one way to answer that. On a network of hundreds of sites it is rarely a practical one.

SiteAccord answers it differently. Connected cameras, sensors and integrated site systems maintain continuous visibility of site conditions across the network. When something falls outside normal parameters, it is surfaced to our operations centre, where a trained operator verifies the event, interprets the site context and executes your approved response procedure.

By creating continuous visibility, defined response pathways and a documented response process, SiteAccord helps reduce operational risk exposure across an unmanned network.

The point

Your network is under continuous system oversight, with trained operators verifying and responding to exceptions under procedures you have approved.

04 / What changes

How most unmanned sites are run today, and how a managed operating model changes that.

Today

Oversight is fragmented

  • Alerts reach an on-call phone, separated from the context needed to interpret them
  • Site conditions must be assembled from several systems before anyone can assess them
  • Authority to act often has to be established before anything can be done
  • Physical attendance may be required before the site can be made safe
  • The evidence of what happened sits across cameras, emails, phone records and memory

With SiteAccord

Oversight is consolidated

  • Exceptions are surfaced automatically and verified by an operator as they develop
  • Site conditions, camera views and equipment status are held in one place
  • Verified exceptions move quickly into the appropriate response pathway because priorities, authority and procedures are agreed in advance
  • Approved remote actions can be initiated where supported by the site
  • The record is structured, time-stamped and traceable from detection to closure

The difference is not better cameras. It is consolidated oversight with agreed authority to act.

05 / Operating model

Your protocol. Our operators. Continuous by design.

Continuous system oversight

Condition monitoring

Connected systems track equipment status, environmental conditions, fuel system behaviour and site safety continuously across the network, not on a schedule.

Exception management

Conditions outside normal parameters are surfaced as exceptions and worked by our operators before they become incidents. Most of what we do never becomes an event.

Network visibility

Your head office sees the condition of every connected site, supported by structured operational reporting and periodic compliance reporting across the network.

Most of SiteAccord's work happens when nothing is going wrong.

Connected systems operate continuously. Operator coverage is provided during your contracted coverage window, including 24/7 where required.

When something happens

01

Triage

Site signals and exceptions are surfaced to the operations centre and triaged according to severity, source and available site context.

02

Verify

An operator reviews the exception against available camera, equipment and site information before a response decision is made. High-consequence decisions and remote interventions remain human-authorised.

03

Prioritise

The verified event is assigned a response priority against the customer's agreed incident matrix and procedures.

04

Act

Based on the incident priority and your pre-agreed response procedure, the appropriate response is commenced. Depending on the event, this may include your emergency response protocol, stakeholder notification or an approved site action where technically supported and authorised.

05

Evidence and close

Site status is verified and the approved reopening procedure is completed before normal operation resumes. A structured, time-stamped record of the event is issued to your head office within the agreed service scope.

After

Response review

Following a managed event, SiteAccord reviews its own response process, including handling, timing, escalation and record quality. Lessons from that review are used to improve how future events are managed within the agreed service scope.

Human in the loop

SiteAccord does not improvise on your site. Responses follow procedures you have approved in advance, and any high-consequence action is authorised by an operator who has verified the event.

Remote actions are available where supported by installed equipment, approved integrations, client authorisation and site-specific safety controls.

06 / Specialisation

Built for fuel sites, by people who have run them.

Fuel sites require more than generic event detection.

The events that matter on a forecourt are equipment failures, fuel system anomalies, environmental releases, safety hazards and vehicle incidents. Interpreting them correctly requires people who understand dispensers, tank systems, wetstock behaviour and forecourt procedure.

Our operators are trained on petroleum retail operations specifically. They know which readings indicate a developing problem, which conditions warrant initiating an isolation procedure, and what has to be documented afterwards.

Fuel systems

Dispensers, tank systems, gauging, and the conditions that indicate a developing problem.

Environmental

Releases, containment, spill response coordination, and the evidence trail that follows.

Safety

Vehicle incidents, forecourt hazards, unsafe or intentional human activity, evacuation procedures and emergency-response requirements.

Operations

Forecourt standard operating procedures, inspection regimes, contractor management, documentation.

07 / Engagement models

Two service models.

Two service models, delivered by the same operations centre. Both are managed services.

Service model

Managed Response

Continuous oversight of your connected network, with verified incident response executed under your procedures.

Contracted operating-hour coverage, including 24/7 where required.

Contracted coverage including 24/7 · Continuous system oversight · Operator-verified events · Approved remote actions where enabled

Service model

Managed Compliance Operations

Everything in Managed Response, plus the ongoing compliance program that keeps the network audit-ready between incidents.

Contracted operating-hour coverage, including 24/7 where required.

Includes everything in Managed Response

Compliance schedules · Inspection and audit programs · Documented workflows · Governance reporting

08 / Platform

The operations centre runs on petroleum compliance infrastructure.

Vertex Pulse provides the petroleum compliance system of record and workflow infrastructure underpinning SiteAccord. Events, procedures, tasks, communications and evidence are captured as operations happen, so the record issued to your head office is structured, time-stamped and traceable rather than reconstructed afterwards.
